Guests "will encounter awe-inspiring floating mountains and wander through a nighttime jungle of bioluminescent plants that are alive with light and sound. Guests will also discover what it feels like to soar into the sky riding a Banshee," according to Tom Staggs, Chairman, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, wrote on the Disney Parks Blog.
In addition to the expansion, there will be a new nighttime spectacular with live music, floating lanterns and water screen to Discovery River as well as a new night version of Kilimanjaro Safaris.
